ACC Farm Incubator
The ACC Farm Incubator provides long-term land access for new and beginning farmers within the Agricultural Sciences Department. The Program aims to increase access to agricultural training and to provide a pathway to job opportunities for those interested in a career in sustainable and regenerative agriculture production in Central Texas.
Program Description
The ACC Farm Incubator offers a 3-year lease of .15 – .25 acres of land. The purpose is to increase the growing and financial skills of incubator farmers by providing low-cost land to lease in order to help build their agricultural business.
Application Information
The ACC Farm Incubator application is open to any person interested in starting an agricultural business and expanding their knowledge in the areas of production and marketing. Previous farming experience is preferred but not required.
There is no application fee, but all applicants must attend an information session prior to applying; information sessions are offered in the fall semester. If the applicant is selected for participation in the program, they will begin in January following their application submission.
Steps to Apply

Attend an in-person or online information session that includes a tour and in-depth information about the program and its requirements.

Complete the General Application by filling out the Online Form or downloading the Print Application. (Follow the instructions to submit the print version.)

If your application is selected, you will schedule an in-person interview with program staff. Your application and interview will then be reviewed by ACC Program Staff and Advisory Board Members using the established criteria for selection.

If you are selected after this process, you will sign a lease agreement with the ACC Farm Incubator and ACC. Participants will also need to review and sign the ACC Farm Incubator manual.
You will schedule a time with Program Staff to tour the building, site and facilities.
