Min Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent, College Degree preferred.
- 1 year AutoCAD experience in AEC preferred or 1 year land surveying field experience preferred.
- Ability to work between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday through Friday.
Overview
This is a full-time on-site position for a Land Survey CAD Technician. 4Ward Land Surveying performs a wide range of survey tasks for our commercial clients, from Boundary Surveys to complex As-Builts via Terrestrial Scanning – we strive to provide methods to be at the forefront of the Survey Industry. Our technicians are responsible for assisting with 4Ward field-to-finish survey process including property research, field crew preparations, survey computations, and drafting utilizing Civil3D. Candidate’s role on the team will be commensurate with their relative experience.
At 4Ward, we pride ourselves on developing our team. As a CAD technician, you will have the opportunity to move your way through the leveled CAD positions and explore advancement into Project Management
as an SIT and eventually an RPLS.
Skills / Tasks
- Providing maps/info for field crews as needed based on project scope.
- Interpreting Survey related material such as Deeds, Plats and Title Commitments.
- Effective Communication is necessary as it does not vary on a project-to-project basis.
- Background utilizing survey line coding preferred.
- Background utilizing Civil 3D & Trimble Business Center preferred.
- Capable of using and integrating information gathered by aerial/terrestrial LiDAR preferred.
Compensation
- Pay Range $21.00-$30.00/hr, pay dependent on candidate experience.
