Your Impact at SAM

You will work in an area pertinent to your degree and learn about surveying, mapping, construction inspection and other services from start to finish. You’ll use the latest technologies to perform tasks for data collection and processing, and/or production drawings on projects, such as, boundary surveys, digital aerial mapping, LiDAR laser scanning, utility designating, construction inspection and more. You will get experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other computer-aided drafting software, while working side-by-side with leading experts.

What You Bring to SAM

  • Enrollment in a 2 or 4-year degree program in Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering, Construction Management or other related field
  • Aspiring Professional Surveyor or Professional Engineer
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Desire and willingness to learn more about our industry and its technology
  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
