Human relations management skills in motivation on the job site. Topics include written and oral communications, leadership and motivation, problem solving, and decision making.
This course is an entry-level course designed to expose the student to the Construction Industry; duties of the Construction Manager, basic management principles and the Project Life Cycle. Students learn about
- the construction industry sectors
- roles of participants in projects
- how to organize and lead a construction project
- how to deliver a project
- chronology (phases) of a project
- tasks during project design
- information about bidding on a project
