The Austin Community College GIS Department is looking for motivated <b>Work-Study students<\/b> to join our team!<br \/>\nIf you want to apply your skills behind the scenes and help shape the future of our program, this is the perfect opportunity for you.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udcbc What You\u2019ll Do<br \/>\nAs a GIS Work-Study student, you will play a key role in keeping our department running smoothly and up to date. Your main responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Updating SOWs:<\/b> Helping review and refine Statements of Work for department projects.<\/li>\n<li><b>Curriculum Support:<\/b> Assisting faculty in updating and improving course materials and lab exercises to ensure they stay cutting-edge.<\/li>\n<li><b>Collaborative Projects:<\/b> Working closely with GIS staff on various departmental needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\ud83d\udd52 Hours &amp; Flexibility<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Up to 19 hours per week.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>We offer flexible scheduling that easily fits around your class timetable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\ud83d\ude80 Why Apply?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>&#8220;The best way to master GIS is to work with it daily.
