Studies &#8211; PANGEA Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From Texas State University:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"m_-8352078573420207900_x__MailAutoSig\"><\/a>Greetings Geographers,<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Every spring, the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Texas State University hosts the PANGEA Conference (Promoting Advancement in Nature, Geography &amp; Environmental Analysis).<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>PANGEA is a one-day, on-campus conference showcasing undergraduate and graduate research in geography and environmental studies. The conference offers students an opportunity to present their research (paper or poster), practice their presentation skills, and receive feedback in a supportive academic setting.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>The conference is\u00a0<strong>free to attend<\/strong>\u00a0and includes snacks, coffee, and lunch. In addition to poster and paper presentations, the event also features a GeoBowl competition.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>This year, the conference will be held on\u00a0<strong>Friday, February 27, 2026\u00a0<\/strong><strong>in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, Evans Liberal Arts Building \u2013 in San Marcos, TX.<\/strong><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Registration is now open for the 2026 PANGEA Conference.
