Ellis County Texas is looking for an additional team member to join the Geographic Information Systems and 9-1-1 Addressing group.<\/p>\n

The onsite position requires excellent communication skills to interact with the public, internal customers, and other agencies in person, via email and telephone.<\/p>\n

Self-motivation, accuracy and attention to detail are a must.<\/p>\n

The day-to-day GIS work typically involves a lot of ground up data creation, cleanup, and research \/ combing through historical files and records to improve the quality of the 9-1-1 data.<\/p>\n

We work directly with NCT9-1-1 and our data will be transitioning into a new schema for NG9-1-1 in December 2024. It is an excellent time to join our team if you are interested in 9-1-1 addressing and management of 9-1-1 data for NG9-1-1 as we will all be learning the new schema together.<\/p>\n
