The GIS department is looking for tutors for the Fall 2024 semester.<\/div>\n

– want to make $23 hourly?<\/b><\/div>\n

If you’ve answered “yes, ” you should apply to be a GIS Tutor! Interested applicants should complete\u00a0this form<\/a>.

Tutor responsibilities\u00a0will include:<\/b><\/div>\n
\u00a0– Tutoring students during regularly scheduled shifts<\/div>\n
\u00a0– Captioning project and lecture videos between helping students<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\u00a0– Assisting instructors with updating screenshots in SOWs<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
GIS\u00a0tutors\u00a0need to have completed the following courses with a grade of B or better:<\/b><\/div>\n
– Intro to GIS<\/div>\n
– Intro to Geospatial Data<\/div>\n
– Intermediate GIS<\/div>\n
– Map design and use (Cartography)<\/div>\n
– Data Acquisition & Analysis<\/div>\n

We are looking\u00a0for\u00a0both in-person and remote\u00a0tutors\u00a0(preference will be given to applicants with on-campus tutoring availability).\u00a0The deadline to apply to be a\u00a0tutor\u00a0is\u00a0Friday,\u00a0August 9th<\/b>.<\/div>\n
