Applications include electric utilities, roadway assets and Fiber optic deployment.<\/p>\n<p>The Job requires a degree\/certification and knowledge in Geography, GIS and hands-on exposure or experience in the following areas:<br \/>\n&#8211; GIS \u2013 (shape files\/ geodatabase)<br \/>\n&#8211; LiDAR\/ point cloud experience<br \/>\n&#8211; Proficient in using ESRI ArcGIS suite including ArcGIS Pro\/ ArcMap software and experience in automating tools in ARCGIS software using Model Builder<br \/>\n&#8211; Experience interpreting Google Earth KML and derive path information<br \/>\n&#8211; Computer skills \u2013 MS office tools<br \/>\n&#8211; Attention to details with good organizational and communication skills<\/p>\n<p>Currently enrolled students set to complete their certification requirements may apply. They may be able to use sections of their work at Virtual Geomatics towards any project work, towards the<br \/>\ncompletion of their degree\/certification, as permitted.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally experience or knowledge of CAD tools such as Bentley Microstation, Autodesk Civil-3D is desired.
