You will also be responsible for developing software solutions using cutting-edge technologies, creating cloud based solutions and apps, as well as developing automation<\/p>\n<p>The GIS Developer is responsible for the implementation of GIS systems and creating spatial data in a variety of formats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GIS Developer \/ Web Developer Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Create GIS Software Applications, Web Applications, and geoprocessing tools.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation and administration of GIS Enterprise solutions<\/li>\n<li>Workflow design, creation, and automation<\/li>\n<li>Understand client needs and work accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and implement GIS projects in accordance with project scope<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the database with a focus on SQL queries and maintenance queries.<\/li>\n<li>Create spatial data from scratch or by adapting existing data sets.<\/li>\n<li>Retrieve, process, clean, and analyze data from various sources such as web services (WMS\/WFS).<\/li>\n<li>Provide maintenance for GIS Applications and web-based applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create spatial analysis and algorithms to analyze, manage, and visualize data in various forms<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated market analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated programming skills, preferably object oriented programing<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Required skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years on the job GIS Experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 years Oil and Gas data experience<\/li>\n<li>ARC GIS Enterprise development and administration<\/li>\n<li>Experience with FME development<\/li>\n<li>Python scripting<\/li>\n<li>Java script programming<\/li>\n<li>ARC Online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For more information and to apply, click HERE.
