ACC Amazing Race – GIS Department and Drone Flight at ACC Elgin Campus on Friday

The ACC GIS department will be participating in the ACC Amazing Race Riverbat Edition this Friday, February 27th, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the ACC Elgin Campus. Students are welcome to join faculty and staff in supporting our racers! We’ll also be flying the ACC GIS Wingtra drone to acquire nadar and oblique imagery for the Elgin Campus in support of our ACC-wide ground control points (GCPs) and digital twin 3D modeling initiatives.
