To assist in the development, organization, analysis, and presentation of ACC’s campus GIS data. This position is within Facilities Information Systems (FIS), which is part of ACC’s Facilities & Construction Department.

Description of Duties and Tasks:
The GIS Intern will contribute to a variety projects to support FIS current initiatives, including:
- Floor plan mapping using ESRI’s ArcGIS Indoors data model,
- Developing 3D models for all campuses
- Updating district basemaps
- Adding utilities, MEP systems, sustainability features, and other data to campus maps
A GIS Intern may also be asked to collaborate with CAD Interns to ensure data transfer between the systems is efficient and accurate. Other duties may be assigned as departmental needs arise.
