The City of Austin Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is looking to fill a GIS Internship position to coincide with the Spring academic calendar. The internship will begin Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and end Friday, May 3rd, 2024.
This position will be responsible for conducting introductory-level geospatial analysis and creating detailed cartographic products for the department. This position is valuable in assisting emergency planning and communication efforts by providing visually impactful spatial data products that will inform decision makers and support our emergency management mission.
