GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Texas Natural Diversity Database (TXNDD) Program Leader, the TXNDD Developer will perform highly complex (senior-level) to advanced (senior-level) geographic information systems work. Work involves coordinating and performing the input and manipulation of geographic information to create, maintain, display, update, and produce accurate maps and other representations of data.  Work also includes the development of tools, using the best available technology, that expedite the collection, entry, and management of rare species data.  TXNDD Developer will coordinate with others in the development of tools and products.  May supervise the work of others. Performs additional duties as assigned.  Complies with all Agency, Division and branch rules, regulations and procedures.
