ICF seeks a GIS Analyst/Cartographer to be based in our Austin, Texas office for work on a broad range of ongoing assignments in support of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document preparation and solutions related to compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Projects include the Energy, Transportation, Water and Planning and Development markets.

What You Will Do

The Analyst will provide GIS support for professional biologists, planners, and project managers; create, manipulate, map, and manage data, including engineering; interact with other GIS and mapping specialists; and help integrate new GIS technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Geographic Information Science
  • 5+ years relevant professional work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles of Geographic Information and Cartography.
  • Software experience: ESRI (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop) • ESRI Extensions (Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst) • ESRI Field Maps Application • Web Mapping (ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise) Additional preferred software experience: • MS Office Suite • Adobe Photoshop • Bentley MicroStation
