ATX GIS Day 2022, a geospatial technology hybrid conference, will host presentations, and activities for professionals and students of all ages. The first day of the event occurs Monday, November 14, from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM in-person at the Austin Community College (ACC) Highland Campus and virtually at TxGISday.org 

Community members, industry professionals, and high school, college, and university students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend free hybrid GIS technology workshops and interactive events to build their skillsets and professional networks. Click here for the event sessions schedule.

Workshops, industry & professional panels, and nightly social events & networking events will provide opportunities to build skills and connect with professionals, academic programs, and leading organizations in the field.

The event features numerous competitions awarding prizes and awards to students and professionals for their best map.

Have a great project you want to show off? Present at ATX GIS Day in-person on Monday 11/14, or virtually only through TxGIS Day! We have 30, 15, and 5-minute Lightning presentation lengths from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM. Our committee will group presentations based on their topics, and we’ll be in contact after your abstract form is submitted.

ATX GIS Day is part of 2022’s TxGIS Day and will again deliver the largest GIS Day event in the state by offering 3-days of events from the ATX GIS Day team at Austin Community College, Texas A&M University, the Houston Area GIS Day team, Supporting Women in Geography and GIS (SWIGGIS – Austin), the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of North Texas, Department of Health and Human Services.
