Performs geographic information systems (GIS) data development, integration, and analysis, produces maps and graphics, and extracts, analyzes, and reports data. Provides technical assistance and support of transportation-related projects and traffic data collection-related activities or projects. Work requires working in heavy traffic and extensive statewide travel. Work requires contact with governmental agencies, officials, and/or private entities. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
This job requires the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Earth Science, Computer Science, or related field
This job requires the following: Experience can be satisfied by full-time or prorated part-time equivalent Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year per year basis.
