Texas A&M University has its week-long Texas A&M GIS Day(s) coming up, Mon-Fri 11/16 – 11/20/2026, and you’re invited to join!
There is free lunch every day, and receptions most nights. The event is free and open to the public.
The days that are usually of most value for students and faculty are:
– Tues 11/17: Judge student presentations, posters and competitions. I hear there is some REALLY good student work to show off.
– Wed 11/18: GIS Career & Resources Fair, 4-6 PM. They will have 40+ organizations signed up. Any students who are looking for full-time and internship positions are encouraged to join and meet with recruiters.
– Thurs 11/19: Student, faculty, and industry presentations.
The full schedule is on TAMU GIS Day website at https://gisday.tamu.edu.
