GIS Symposium

The ACC GIS Department invites you to our ACC GIS Student Symposium this Friday, May 15th, from 4 PM to 7:30 PM at ACC Highland Campus. 

Join us as we listen to 10-minute presentations by our ACC GIS Capstone students and browse work by GISC 1491 Map Design & Use students.

Alex Fries, Cartographer with the National Park Service at Harper’s Ferry, is our invited speaker to deliver the opening remarks for the Capstone students. These will be held in HyFlex format in the 2.1550 Conference Room for both in-person and remote attendees.

Before and after the presentations, enjoy a Map Gallery showcasing work by GISC 1491 Map Design & Use students and refreshments. The Map Gallery is in the Mural area, just outside of 2.1550.
