Researches, reads and plot deeds. Prepare parcel maps and Land Title survey maps. Learn to write metes and bounds descriptions based on the Surveyors final boundary solution.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Prepares final topographic and boundary surveys<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Perform site visits of jobs when needed and may accompany survey crew to locate and collect data required<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Assists in the analysis and preparation of reports, maps, drawings and aerial photographs<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Learns to read and understand civil, architectural and structural plans and prepare construction staking based on these plans<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Prepares and organizes field data to use in the preparation of final drawings<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Prepares preliminary construction, topographic and boundary surveys for review and further direction by the RPLS or Project Manager<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Assists RPLS or Project Surveyor on job requirements with briefing\/debriefing single or multiple survey field crews<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"background-color: white;color: #333333;line-height: 1.1;margin-bottom: 9px;margin-top: 20px !important\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia;font-size: small\">Qualifications<\/span><\/h2>\n<div style=\"background-color: white;color: #333333;margin-top: 20px !important\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul style=\"margin-bottom: 9px;margin-top: 0px\">\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Candidates must have at 1-2 years of office survey experience using AutoCAD.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or at least two years related experience and\/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Experience with Carlson Survey software.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Basic records research experience<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Working knowledge of GPS Data acquisition and processing.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Experience with Trimble Business Center and TSC3\/TSC7 data controllers.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Understand design layouts, boundary and topographic surveys and construction staking.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Understand surveying terminology and can operate surveying equipment including total stations, transit and levels.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Ability to draft Legal Descriptions<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills along with a strong mathematical aptitude.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">EEO Statement&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\"><span><span style=\"font-family: georgia\">Jones|Carter is committed to providing equal opportunity to all qualified applicants and its employees.
