Typical survey projects are generally local and include boundary surveys, ALTA\/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, limited construction staking and horizontal\/vertical control surveys. Occasional overnight travel for out of town projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>Responsible for the operation, checking and basic field adjustments of survey equipment. E.g. tripods, tribrachs, levels, total stations, GNSS receivers, data radios\/modems<\/li>\n<li>Load and unload surveying supplies and equipment in the vehicle&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Utilize survey controllers and software to collect geospatial data and perform survey computations<\/li>\n<li>Read and interpret various types of maps and plans<\/li>\n<li>Complete neat and orderly field notes for survey operations&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Keeps Party Chief informed of problems and progress<\/li>\n<li>Clean and maintain survey equipment, tools and vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Follow company safety procedures for survey operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>High School graduate or GED equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction plans, plats, surveys, etc.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience using total stations, levels, GPS receivers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and strength &amp; flexibility test<\/li>\n<li>Valid drivers license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Benefits<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>All Standard Employee Benefits per Pacheco Koch Employee Handbook:<\/li>\n<li>Medical<\/li>\n<li>Dental<\/li>\n<li>Vision<\/li>\n<li>Short Term\/Long Term Disability<\/li>\n<li>Additional Life Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Paid Time Off<\/li>\n<li>Retirement plan options with company match<\/li>\n<li>Per diem compensation for any overnight travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From pkce.com\/careers\/&nbsp;Click link to apply.
