Summary\u00a0<\/strong>
\nThe Surveyor will assist with and learn the setup, testing, calibration, and operation of a variety of
\nsurvey and positioning systems. To gain an awareness of engineering, processing, and marine
\ndisciplines.<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities<\/strong>
\n\u2022 To ensure that all onshore and offshore activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all involved and to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution.
\n\u2022 To ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism, in accordance with the company Integrated Management System and project specific documentation.
\n\u2022 To complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
\n\u2022 To assist with setup, interface, test, calibrate and operate survey sensors.
\n\u2022 Operate online survey software and monitor the data quality to ensure the survey specification is achieved, bringing non-conformances to the attention of supervisor.
\n\u2022 To collect, collate and present results from various survey sensors.
\n\u2022 Assist with preparation of various reports including mobilization and calibration reports.
\n\u2022 Maintaining up-to-date and accurate vessel survey logs
\n\u2022 To attend project briefings, daily meetings, and safety meetings as appropriate.
\n\u2022 To gain experience with processing software and techniques.
\n\u2022 Develop skills across various offshore disciplines.
\n\u2022 To be proactive in self-development and progress towards professional affiliation.
\n\u2022 Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
\n\u2022 Performs other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong>
\n\u2022 At least 18 years of age.
\n\u2022 Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
\n\u2022 Associate's degree or higher in Surveying, GIS, Geospatial, Civil Engineering, and\/or a technical discipline preferred, but not required.
\n\u2022 Must be willing and able to travel offshore up to 6 weeks at a time for surveying operations.
\n\u2022 Possess or able to obtain a valid passport, TWIC card, PEC safety and water survival certifications, with Company assistance.
\n\u2022 Military and\/or Offshore experience preferred, but not required.<\/p>\n

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and\/or
\n(3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Assistant Surveyor, Surveyor, or Senior Surveyor.<\/p>\n

*Entry-level salary starts at $50,000.
\n*Must be willing to relocate to Lafayette, LA or Houston, TX<\/p>\n
