Central-Austin based Civil Engineering & Surveying Firm is seeking an experienced Survey Field Crew Members to add to our survey team. These are field positions requiring full-time availability. Typical survey services provided include but are not limited to: topographic, tree location, ALTA\/NSPS land title, asbuilt, boundary, right-of-way utilities, and construction staking. This is a great opportunity for someone in the Austin Area to gain experience working on complex boundary surveys and construction projects.<\/div>\n

FIELD CREW MEMBERS<\/div>\n
The Survey Field Crew Members will work primarily in the field under the direction of the Survey Party Chief by operating the instrument (Total Station); performing duties as the Rod Man; running level loops; staking for construction; and clearing brush and trees from line of survey with machete, brush hook, or chainsaw in addition to other surveying, mapping and data collection activities.<\/div>\n

- Valid Texas Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n
- Reliable Transportation to\/from Work and willingness to travel<\/li>\n
- Ability to work well independently and on a team<\/li>\n
- Completion of jobs in a timely manner<\/li>\n
- Basic Computer and Mathematical Skills<\/li>\n
- Maintain field equipment, tools, and Survey Vehicle<\/li>\n
- Knowledge of Leica Products and GPS preferred<\/li>\n
- Survey Courses a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
