We are seeking an experienced Survey Tech or Surveyor-In-Training (SIT) to join our Austin, TX Survey team! Candidates for this position will support our project managers in survey design related tasks.<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to produce detailed subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other various survey related maps or exhibits<br \/>Research boundary and easement title documents and perform boundary analysis<br \/>Use field crew data files (points), field sketches, photos and reference maps to create surveys<br \/>Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right of way, easements, acquisition parcels, etc.<br \/>Additional responsibilities and\/or duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate&#8217;s degree preferred<br \/>Working knowledge of land development desktop, Civil 3D, and Carlson software<br \/>Prior relevant experience<br \/>Strong communication and technical skills<br \/>Ability to work independently and in a team environment<br \/>Ability to manage multiple projects at one time<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Kimley-Horn in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
