\"I-CARThe Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology Program<\/strong> at ACC provides students with hands-on auto body experience where each class is designed to build specific skills sought after and needed by the industry. The curriculum is built around industry-recognized I-CAR<\/a> standards, allowing students to graduate with employer-trusted I-CAR courses.<\/p>\n

Gain professional value by taking advantage of industry-grade equipment and ACC\u2019s 16-week integrated internship. Through this practical placement, students are placed in a top local collision shop, such as Caliber Collision or Tesla. Professional technicians work on a wide range of vehicles, painting and refinishing modern materials like plastics, fiberglass, aluminum, and galvanized panels in body shops and dealerships.<\/p>\n

Completion of ACC\u2019s training qualifies graduates to take the I-CAR welding test, a critical benchmark for professional advancement. The job market for automotive collision repair specialists is very strong in and around Austin.
